In a peaceful protest held at City Hall on Friday, June 16, demonstrators in Downtown Calgary raised concerns about the influence of LGBTQ2+ advocacy on children.

Waving Canadian flags and carrying signs, protestors expressed their objections to sexual orientation and gender identity being discussed in schools. One of the protest's main organizers, Mahmoud Mourra, stated that the turnout was encouraging and that he was hopeful about the future.
