The world's greatest classical music festival is back this summer with a host of special events. In her First Night of the Proms debut, conductor Elim Chan presents Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony alongside Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks.
Tickets for the 2023 BBC Proms Season are on sale today. This live blog will be updated throughout the day with tips on how to book tickets. The Proms will run from 19 July to 14 September, with 90 concerts over 58 glorious days.
The Royal Albert Hall will host a number of the concerts, including an evening celebrating a pivotal movement in late 20th-century music, featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra.
