A long-range stunner from substitute Eder proved to be the difference in a tight and tense Euro 2016 final in Paris.
Portugal, who had lost their two previous major tournament finals, started brightly but allowed France to take control of possession.

The match was played in front of a partisan crowd at the Stade de France and was decided by a moment of individual brilliance from Eder.
The Lille forward, who had only come on as a substitute in the 79th minute, picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the box before firing an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net.
The victory was a just reward for Portugal, who had been the better team for much of the match and created the best chances.
They also showed great character to come back from behind after France had taken the lead in the 58th minute through Antoine Griezmann.
The victory will be a huge boost for Portugal and will give them confidence going into the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
